Where are you based?
Our studio is just a 5 minute walk from East Putney Station on the District Line or 7 minutes from Putney Station by Train.

Do I need a reader?
With Venn Studios, you get the choice of a male or female reader for your tape with the option for both if needed, subject to scheduling. We also offer a room & equipment hire without a reader.

How should I prepare?
Send us your sides & breakdown ahead
of time.
On the day, bring any costume & props you may need and we’ll worry about the rest!
Can I watch my takes as we go?
Absolutely! We have a monitor so you can watch and adjust as you go. Just bear in mind that this is included in your time slot.
Do you work with kids?
Yes, we both have experience working with children from age 5 and above and Enhanced DBS clearance.
How do
I book?
Easy! To book your self-tape session, email us at info@vennstudios.co.uk with your preferred day and time and one of us will get back to you to organise!

How long is a session?
Our most popular session is one hour with options to extend to 90 minutes or 2 hours. We understand that some tapes need extra time, and we never want you to feel rushed.

When will I get my tape?
You will receive your fully edited & graded tape as a WeTransfer or Dropbox link on the same day as your session. If you’re working with a tight deadline, let us know & we’ll make sure to get it for you in time!
We can also send it directly to your agent for you should you prefer.
What direction will you offer?
We will give you as much or as little as you like, we both trained as actors, Vivian is an award winning director and Ben is an acting coach — so you’re in safe hands!
Do you have a
teleprompter?
We are set up to help you in this situation, sometimes the timing and learning is just impossible! We have an ipad on a tripod that we will run as a teleprompter for you, should you need it.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand life can be unpredictable! We can’t refund your payment if given less than 24 hours notice - but we will work with you to reschedule for a time that suits you better.
